Kolme luonnotarta - Three nature goddesses

Ensimmäiset kolme luonnotarta on maalattu, keittiön oven yläpuolella leijailevat taivaankappaleiden haltijat - Tähdetär, Päivätär ja Kuutar. Pitkään meni miettiessä miten sidon maalauksen sivuseinien lummefriisiin, mutta ratkesihan se sitten! Lumpeita sekaan, sillä siitä selvittiin. Kuuttaren vaatteesta en tykkää, mutta hankala tuota on mennä muuttamaan, tuskin saan seinän pohjaväriä maalattua enää korjaukseen samanlaisena... Kuu ja tähti odottavat vielä lehtimetallia pintaansa. Päivättären aurinko on lehti"kultaa" ja se loistaa sopivasta suunnasta katsottuna aika hienosti.

Mies ehdotti että maalaan myöskin nimet seinään, mutta mihin ne nyt saisi mukavasti sopimaan, osaksi sommittelua, kun en aikanaan sitä suunnitellut. Saa nähdä. Toisen seinän loput kuusi luonnotarta saavat nyt odottaa, aloitan uuden veistoksen!


I have painted the first three nature goddesses; spirits from the space are floating over the kitchen doorway - Star goddess, Sun goddess and Moon goddess. It took long time to figure out how to connect the paintings with the waterlily frieze in the side walls. Then I realized: some waterlilies there too! I don't like the cloth of the Moon goddess, but it is hard to paint it again, I don't think I can remix the paint colour in the backround... The moon and the star are waiting for me to get more sheet metal, the sun has gilding and it shines beautifully when looked from the right direction.

My husband suggested me to paint their names there too, but where could I put them to be a natural part of the design... we will see.

Te six goddesses that will be on the other wall will have to wait, I am going to start a new sculpture!
